Townsville Veterans Golf Club

The Townsville Veteran's Golf Club (TVGC) has upwards of 80 senior members who wish to play golf and socialise. Membership of the TVGC is open to financial members of the Townsville Golf Club.

The fee to join the TVGC is $5.00 per annum and the competition fee is $5.00. The club tees off every Friday at 7.00 am until 8.00 am for a 9 hole tournament and there are nearest the pin shots and a run down.

The friendly competition ensures an enjoyable time is had by all with an emphasis not on competition but on socialising. There are trips away to other courses, including 3 days to Atherton and Mareeba, other veterans' open championships and opening days.

So there are many reasons to come along and have a few hours of entertainment on a Friday. Visitors are welcome and pay normal fees only.
